Lead-based paint is damaging to your health. Lead can harm an unborn child, which calls for pregnant women to be extra careful to lead exposure. Low levels of lead can cause irreversible damage to brain development, especially in children. Higher levels of lead can cause kidney failure and damage the nervous system. Peak levels of lead can cause seizures, unconsciousness, and possibly death. Oakwood’s contracting staff are certified for all lead-based paint-related projects. • Safe removal, containment, and lawful disposal of lead-based materials 

• Complete decontamination of the site 

• Sealing of all surfaces with new, lead-free materials
